One Ecuadorean family prepared 7,000 liters of chicha (a sweet drink that is usually highly fermented but they said this one was very mild) and distributed it free to the public until their 50,000 cups ran out. Winn tried it and said it tasted like a fruit juice and did not have a buzz.
