I was headed across Parque Calderon one morning when a friend called out to me that I 'look like a picture' so I gave her my camera and asked her to take my picture...so here I am with a $5 armful of gladiolas from the flower market. I wove the big scarf that I'm wearing for my sister and me. She has a matching scarf to wear in North Carolina while I'm way down here south of Equator. BIG NEWS: We just got our residency visa which allows us to live here indefinitely and our cedula which is a national identification card. We plan to be here at least two years and probably more so make plans to come visit!
