Monigotes are dummies made with cloth and stuffed with sawdust, cardboard, straw, leaves and, although illegal, some include fireworks inside. There were 10 locations around the city where you could legally purchase monigotes this year. As you can see, most monigotes are faceless until you buy a mask for them.
