The angel peeking over the roof is the famous El Panecillo, so named because it sits on a small bread loaf-shaped hill which originally housed a temple to the sun. This angel is a modern 7,0000 piece aluminum version of the original which is dressed in white and blue flowing robes. I really liked this modern version and tried to buy a miniature but all they had was the more traditional version.
